"Removes all negative effects on the unit in the first position on the friendly team."
Cleanse only works against current Negative Status Effects. If a unit had been Cleansed in a previous round and is struck with a Negative Status effect, it will need to be Cleansed again to remove it.

- Noxious Fumes - The unit in the first position will not take damage from Noxious Fumes. Enjoy your safety whilst your opponent's units are Poisoned.
- Super Sneak - Direct attacks away from your Cleansed unit in the first position - allowing them to maintain their health and avoid damage from Negative Status Effects!
Notable Abilities
- Healing - Combine healing abilities with Cleanse to ensure your tank has a long life.
- Taunt - Direct attacks away from your tank to ensure it lives long enough to destroy your enemy's team!
Summoners with Cleanse:
Elias Max Pruitt is a Legendary Dual Element Tactics Summoner from the Rebellion set. Elias is an airdropped reward for participating in Conflicts. Able to call forth units from both Water and Life Elements, enjoy +1 melee attack and +1 armor for the whole team! Choose between granting 1 unit Cleanse and Repair, or 1 unit Armored Strike and Piercing. Ensure your team is well-buffed with armor for additional attack power and sustain!
Scarred Llama Mage is arguably one of the most powerful Summoners in Splinterlands. Not only will Cleanse remove negative status effects from your unit in first position throughout, but it also adds +2 to health and Last Stand to all team members. Beware the Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying combo!
