Combining multiple cards with the same name will increase the cards' level, which, in most cases, will change the stats of cards. Combining archons to level them up will allow you to play higher-level cards.
**Combining cards is permanent and cannot be undone. Note the warnings for under-leveled and over-leveled cards**
Combining Cards
Step 1: Navigate to your card collection via the Items button and select the card you wish to level up. Note the up arrow, which indicates that a card is ready to be leveled.
Step 2: View the level of your selected card.
The CC column displays the number of cards currently combined into an individual card.
The Next Level column displays the number of cards needed to reach the next level.
You can also view how close your card is to reaching the next level via the bar at the base of the card right above the ability icon(s).
Step 3: Select the Stats tab to reveal the cards required to achieve the next level.
Step 4: Return to your cards tab, and select the individual copies of the card you wish to combine. Use the card and cc counters next to the action icons to keep track.
Step 5: Next, click the combine icon (green +). Review the popup. Note the warnings above the buttons for under-leveled and over-leveled cards.
Step 6: You may combine to next level (2) as indicated by the number in the parenthesis above, adjust the number of cards you have selected by clicking cancel, or simply combine the cards if you plan to level this copy further. In this case, we added another card to bring Portly Cannoneer to level 5 and clicked combine.
Step 7: View your newly combined card.
This card should now be playable at this new level as long as an archon of a high enough level can summon it. Otherwise, the card may only play to the highest level version that any archon will allow for.
Combine All
Combine all is a feature that should only be used in certain scenarios, such as when players have enough copies of all cards to combine to max level.
- The Combine All action combines as many cards as possible from the currently displayed list. Additional cards past max level will not be combined.
To combine all cards, click the green + icon indicated by the red arrow below. If you would like to proceed, click Confirm.
Combining Soulbound and Unbound Cards
If an unbound card is combined with a Soulbound card, the new card will be Soulbound. To unbind it, the remainder of the unbinding fee will need to be paid. View the Unbound Status of cards within the Unbound Status on the card details screen.
You can also view this information by clicking into the Unbind Card screen via the Release Soulbound Card chain icon.
