Notable Rulesets
Top 3 Rulesets | Bottom 3 Rulesets |
Heavy Hitters - All monsters gain the Knock Out ability. Consider adding multiple monsters with stun to ensure the Knock Out ability is triggered. | Aimless - With all monsters granted the Scattershot ability, it will be challenging to Stun and Knock Out the same monster. |
What Doesn't Kill You - With increased melee and speed when damaged, stunning your opponent's monsters will prevent them from attacking your team. | Super Sneak - Consider whether your Knock out and Stun monster will be able to hit the same monster when rulesets modifying targeting are in play. |
Equalizer - Prepare for a longer battle if all monsters start out with high health. Stun will help you to secure victory by preventing your opponent from attacking. | Briar Patch/Counterspell/Fire & Regret - Hopefully your monster can take what they dish out when forced to play within these rulesets. |
Notable Abilities
Top 3 Abilities | Bottom 3 Abilities |
Knock Out - Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned. | Stun - Though stun is integral to triggering the Knock Out ability, it can also be turned against you. Skipping your next turn and robbing your monster of the ability to deliver that stunning blow. |
Reach - Ensure that your tank and reaching monster with stun hit the same target. | No attack - In this scenario, stun is only beneficial when paired with the Knock Out ability - taking this monster out quickly. |
Affliction - Add insult to injury by preventing your opponent from attacking AND healing. | Cleanse - Stun can be cleansed. Be sure to include a monster with snipe to prevent your opponent's tank from being cleansed. |
Remarkable Interactions
- A monster will remain stunned until right before the monster that applied the stun, takes its turn in the subsequent round.
- Let’s say monster A stuns monster B. The stun on monster B will last until monster A takes its next turn. At the very start of A’s next turn, monster B will become un-stunned, and the battle will proceed accordingly.
