 "Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position."

Remarkable Interactions

1. Units in the first position cannot attack a unit with Taunt if it is NOT in the first position.
2. Units with Reach will target the unit in the first position even if a unit with Taunt is NOT in the first position. 
3. If multiple units with Taunt are in play, the unit closest to the first position will be targeted. Upon that unit's death, the next Taunting unit will be targeted. 

Notable Modifiers

1. Fog of War: With Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity being unusable, direct your opponent's attacks away from your tank by placing a Taunting unit in the last position. 
2. Explosive Weaponry: Strategically place your Taunting unit in the first or last position, (ideally next to a unit with Reflection Shield) to prevent your units from taking excess damage from Blast. 
3. Aimless: All units have Scattershot and are not susceptible to Taunt. They will target the opposing team at random!
4. Ferocity: All units have Fury. Think carefully before adding a unit with Taunt to your lineup as they will take double damage from all attacks! 

Notable Abilities

1. Fury - Beware the unit with Fury - it will do double damage to your Taunting unit!
2. Giant Killer - Beware the unit with Giant Killer. This ability does double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana which may make short work of your Taunting unit.
3. Tank Heal & Repair - Actively regenerate your tank's armor and health by adding supporting units to your lineup.

Summoners with Taunt

Risqruel Drath is a Legendary Dual Element Tactics Summoner from the Rebellion set. Risqruel is an airdropped reward for participating in Conflicts. Risqruel can summon units from the Fire and Earth elements and grants +1 ranged and Flying to all friendly units.

Choose between granting two units Impede and True Strike, or one unit Taunt and Redemption. Is the Redemption hit worth taking out your opponent's strongest unit or is it better to offer up one of your own? Time will tell.
