Opportunity
"Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health."
Attack Accuracy rules apply
Notable Rulesets
Top 3 Rulesets | Bottom 3 Rulesets |
Unprotected - Without shields, your opportunistic monster may be able to take out your opponent's backline with minimal effort! | Back to Basics - keep in mind that monsters lose all abilities with this ruleset. A melee monster with opportunity will only be allowed to attack from the first position |
Noxious Fumes - finish off the lowest health monster with a dose of Poison | Super Sneak - sneak overrides opportunity abilities here. Consider whether your monster is still the best fit |
Equalizer - While all monsters start with the same health, your opportunity monster will swarm the monster with the lowest health (likely the monster first position). This helps to efficiently dispatch your opponent's first line. | Heavy hitters - With this ruleset, the knock out ability is only applicable to monsters that have been stunned. Ensure that your attacks are concentrated on the stunned monster rather than the monster with the lowest health. |
Notable Abilities
Top 3 Abilities | Bottom 3 Abilities |
Piercing - Attack through your opponents armor and damage their main health stat | Thorns - If your opponent plays a monster or summoner with thorns, be aware that your melee monster with opportunity will take damage each time they strike |
Scavenge - Benefit from taking out your opponents monsters by gaining +1 health any time a monster dies | Demoralize - If your opponent plays a monster with demoralize, you lose -1 to melee attack making your monster less effective |
Camouflage - Continuously deal damage to your target while staying hidden - until first position. | Blind - If your opponent plays a monster with blind, dodge, or flying, be aware that your monster has an increased chance of missing attacks. Pray they do not include the backfire ability in their lineup! |
Remarkable Interactions
1. Within the Equal Opportunity ruleset, consider using a low health/high armor monster as a pseudo Taunting monster. Drawing enemy attention whilst your other monsters devastate your opponent.
2. Monsters with Opportunity can not target camouflaged monsters, even if they have the lowest health.
No Summoners with Opportunity Exist
