"This Monster's attacks cannot miss."
100% chance of hitting target.
|Top 3 Rulesets||Bottom 3 Rulesets|
|Stampede - Pairing True Strike with the trample ability will allow trample to retrigger indefinitely.||Aim True - Melee and ranged attacks will always hit their targets. Consider whether your monster with True Strike is worth including in the lineup|
|Unprotected - Removing armor from monsters exposes their health directly to attack.||Counterspell/Broken Arrows/Briar Patch - Ensure that your monsters can take what they dish out! Missing some attacks can be a blessing within these rulesets. Not possible when True Strike is involved.|
|Up Close and Personal - Only melee attack monsters can be used. Especially if your melee attack monster is able to strike first, you can wipe out the competition with a strong attack||Wands Out - Magic attack monsters can not miss (unless the Phase ability is involved). Currently a magic monster with True Strike does not exist. Consider whether using Byzantine Kitty as a summoner is the best strategy for this ruleset.|
|Top 3 Abilities||Bottom 3 Abilities|
|Blast - Guarantee a hit and damage to your opponent's adjacent monsters with True Strike||Halving - when played by your opponent, this severely reduces your attack power, further reducing the likelihood that bloodlust will be activated.|
|Poison - further subtract from your opponent's health by guaranteeing your attacks will hit||Stun - when played by your opponent, this can prevent your monster from attacking. Making them an easy target to destroy without getting in an attack. Hope they do not pair stun with Knockout!|
|Piercing - Allow your monster to pierce through your opponent's shield and attack the health||Thorns - If your melee attack monster has True Strike, they will take damage from thorns when attacking. Unless they also have Reflection Shield.|
- True Strike attacks can not miss even with increased speed differential and/or evasive abilities in play.
