|Earthquake/Noxious Fumes - any ruleset that helps to speed your monster with martyr towards death will benefit you. The value of 1 damage to all enemy monsters can not be over stated.||Target Practice/Equal Opportunity/Sneak - You can choose to take advantage of any ruleset that dictates where attacks can strike and consider some of your cards as sacrificial to your scavenger. The possibility remains that your scavenger will be left standing to the last, then be pummeled by the remaining monsters on your opponent's team.|
|Counterspell/Fire & Regret/Briar Patch - These rulesets are ideal for scavengers with no attack Force your opponents to take damage while your scavenger gains health from all deceased monsters.||Equalizer - This is another ruleset in which personal preference comes into play. The beauty of the scavenger lies in increasing health as other monsters die. With equal health across the board, it will take longer for this ability to trigger. Increasing the possibility that your scavenger will not gain health until it is too late.|
|Little League - With an assortment on Scavengers with a mana cost of 4 or below, your scavenger will continuously gain health as monsters die. Leaving a formidable foe for your opponent!||Back to Basics - monsters lose all abilities. Consider whether your scavenger should still be included in your lineup.|
|Top 3 Abilities||Bottom 3 Abilities|
|Cleanse - Consider the benefits of a cleansed monster with scavenger during the Noxious Fumes ruleset. Gathering increased health each time an opponent dies.||Poison - without cleanse in play, your scavenger may wither away slowly, despite feasting on the dead.|
|Heal/Tank Heal - Maintain the health of your scavenger with healing abilities.||Affliction - Unable to be healed, your monster with scavenger may not be able to keep up with the onslaught of attacks.|
|Resurrect - monsters that return to life with one health may perish yet again. Offering more sustenance to your Scavenger.||Oppress - does double damage to monsters with no attack. If your Scavenger has no attack, they will be oppressed. Even if they are using the Weapons Training ability.|
- Consider the use case for a non attack Scavenger to be paired with Weapons Training monster.
- Although creatures cannot be cast with less than 1 HP, Other powers (like -1 health from a summoner or -1 health Weaken) will force a Scavenger creature to keep 1 HP after the first creature died. The same applies to Life Leech.
