Expose
"80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Void Armor, or Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove Immunity first."
After Immunity is removed the other abilities will be removed randomly.
Remarkable Interactions
- Expose has an 80% chance to activate, and can only remove one defensive ability per strike.
- The Expose effect is Cleansable. If a unit that has been Exposed is Cleansed, the abilities that had been Exposed will return to it - one per each Cleansing.
- Units with Cleanse may Cleanse themselves.
- If an Exposed unit dies and is Resurrected, it will return to life with all abilities restored.
- Expose will always remove Immunity first. Then, it will randomly remove one of the following: Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, or Void Armor.
- Expose will remove Shield, even if it was applied via Shield Ward.
- Cleanse is not limited to cleansing abilities removed by Expose, and will remove other negative status effects as usual.
- Deflect granted via Deflection Shroud can be removed with Expose.
Notable Modifiers
- Armored Up: What better complement to additional armor than Void Armor? Remove the benefits Void Armor brings with Expose!
- Explosive Weaponry: Protection from Blast damage? I think not! Strip Reflection Shield from your opponent's unit and make them burn like the rest!
- Equalizer: With all units starting with the same health, your opponent may try to stack defensive abilities to allow their units to sustain. Strip them of these abilities with Expose!
Notable Abilities
- Stun - Use Stun to prevent units with Expose from attacking.
- Cleanse - To counter Expose, save space for units with Cleanse on your team!
- True Strike - Ensure that your attacks never miss with True Strike!
Summoner with Expose
Cryptic was airdropped to qualifying players after the fifth Conflict. As part of the Rebellion set, Cryptic adds insult to injury all the way around. Not only will your opponent suffer -1 speed, but their entire team will be Blinded - reducing the accuracy of attacks by 15%. Next, choose between granting two units Retaliate and Enfeeble OR Poison and Expose. Which strategy will work the best? The choice is yours!
- Upon hit, Poison has a chance to activate before Expose - granting your Immune opponent fleeting protection from the first poison application!
