Redemption
"When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units."
The damage dealt follows the rules of melee attacks and strikes armor first.
Remarkable Interactions
- Redemption cannot be dodged by your opponent, but the impact of the damage can be lessened with Shield.
- When Redemption is activated, it will inflict one damage to all enemy Units without any interruptions. That means, if the Redemption ability was to kill a Unit, that Unit wouldn't die until all other Units were impacted by Redemption first.
- In addition, if the Redemption ability kills a Unit that has Redemption on the enemy team, their Redemption will trigger as soon as the first Redemption ends, but still without any interruptions. That means abilities like Scavenger won't activate until both Redemptions are completely over.
Notable Modifiers
- Earthquake/Noxious Fumes: Any Modifier that helps to speed your Unit with redemption towards death will benefit you. The value of 1 damage to all enemy Units can not be overstated.
- Target Practice: All ranged and magic attack Units have the Snipe ability. Consider placing your Unit strategically - as fodder for sniping Units.
Notable Abilities
- Affliction: Prevent your opponent from recovering from redemption via healing.
- Martyr: Upon death, Units with Martyr add +1 to all stats of friendly Units. This can negate the use of redemption, or, if you choose to employ both martyr and redemption, widen the gap between you and your opponent's health.
Summoners with Redemption
Risqruel Drath is a Legendary Dual Element Tactics Summoner from the Rebellion set. Risqruel is an airdropped reward for participating in Conflicts and will be available in packs after the sixth Conflict ends. Risqruel can summon Units from the Fire and Earth elements and grants +1 ranged and Flying to all friendly Units.
Choose between granting two Units Impede and True Strike, or one Unit Taunt and Redemption. Is the Redemption hit worth taking out your opponent's strongest Unit or is it better to offer up one of your own? Time will tell.
