|Equalizer - Though all Units start with the same max health, you can increase it with Strengthen.
|Counterspell/Fire & Regret - Ensure that your ranged or magic attack Units can take what they dish out!
|Little League - Only Units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less can be used. Add one to the generally low health of these Units to secure victory!
|Target Practice - All magic and ranged Units possess the Snipe ability. Ensure that your Unit with Strengthen is well protected against the onslaught!
|Healed Out - as no healing is allowed within this ruleset, that extra point of max health may make all the difference between success and defeat!
|Back to Basics - Units lose all abilities. Consider whether the other stats that your Unit with Strengthen possesses makes them a good fit for your lineup.

|Cleanse - Removes negative status effects from the Unit in the first position. Extend the health of your Unit with cleanse.
|Weaken - reduces the health of all enemy Unit. When played by you, increase the health gap between you and your opponent. When played by your opponent, this is the perfect counter to Strengthen.
|Heal/Tank Heal - any ability that assists in maintaining health - especially with that extra point of health - will be extremely beneficial where strengthen is concerned.
|Snipe - Be sure that your Unit with strengthen is well protected, or you risk them being taken out in the first round by an enemy with snipe!
|Taunt - an extra point of max health to your taunting Unit, in addition to your back line, may provide the runway you need to devastate your opponent's team. BEFORE they can target your other Units.
|Cripple - Units granted the cripple status effect lose 1 point of max health. This takes effect each time a Unit is struck. Your efforts to strengthen your Units will still be beneficial, but may ultimately fail.
- Strengthen stacks with Summoners that increase health, as well as other Units with Strengthen.
- Consider rounding out your team with other Units that increase your stats - Swiftness, Protect, Inspire.

Fernheart is an Epic Earth summoner. With a mana cost of 4, he is very useful, particularly in the lower leagues. Your opponent may not expect to face a ranged attack Unit in the first position! An added bonus of +1 health makes him formidable indeed.
