Inspire
"Gives all friendly Monsters +1 Melee attack."
Inspire is Stackable
Notable Rulesets
Top 3 Rulesets | Bottom 3 Rulesets |
What Doesn't Kill You - All monsters are granted increased speed and melee attacks when damaged. This can allow you to deal an even more devastating blow! | Back to Basics - keep in mind that monsters lose all abilities with this ruleset. Consider whether your monster is still worth including in your ruleset. |
Melee Mayhem - Melee monsters can attack from any position rendering Inspire all the more valuable. | Keep your Distance/Going the Distance/Wands Out - Melee attack monsters may not be used rendering inspire ineffectual. |
Unprotected - Without armor, your inspired attacks will attack the main health stat directly. Inspire is invaluable here. | Briar Patch - Ensure that your melee monsters can take what they dish out when Thorns are involved. |
Notable Abilities
Top 3 Abilities | Bottom 3 Abilities |
Enrage - monsters have increased stats when damaged. Consider the benefits that increased melee attacks will grant to your monsters! | Demoralize - -1 to all melee attacks. When played by your opponent, this is the ideal counter to Inspire |
Piercing - Put that +1 melee attack to good use by piercing through your opponent's armor. | Stun - If your opponent uses stun, your monster will not be able to attack. This could hamstring your strategy if you were reliant on a strong tank for victory. Remember to round out your team with many attack types and abilities. |
Giant Killer - Does double damage to monsters that cost 10 or more mana - paired with inspire, these attacks have the potential to devastate otherwise formidable tanks. | Headwinds/Blind - Any ability which decreases your likelihood of successful melee attack is an enemy to inspire. |
