Martyr
"When this Unit dies, it gives adjacent Units +1 to all stats."
Multiple units with Martyr can be used to increase the stats of the same unit.
Remarkable Interactions
- Units with Martyr can be Resurrected multiple times and will increase the stats of surviving adjacent units upon each death.
- Martyr can be Dispelled.
Notable Rulesets
- Earthquake/Noxious Fumes - any ruleset that helps to speed your Unit with martyr towards death will adjacent units.
- Reverse Speed - An increase in stats (specifically speed) will hamper your efforts at victory here.
- Target Practice - All ranged and magic attack units have the Snipe ability. Consider placing your ranged martyr strategically - as a sacrifice for snipers.
Notable Abilities
- Bloodlust - A prime companion to martyr - an increase in stats occurs upon each successful destruction of opposing Units. Consider surrounding your Unit with bloodlust with martyrs.
-
Taunt - Drawing fire away from your unit with martyr may prevent this ability from triggering as early as you would like. Consider placing this unit in the first position and your taunting unit in the second so that they face the onslaught stronger and faster.
-
If your Unit with taunt is also a martyr, consider placing them strategically - adjacent to two Units, rather than 1.
