Remarkable Interactions

1. Demoralize stacks but can not reduce melee attacks to 0,
2. Demoralize dies with the unit wielding it.
3. When combined with lookout and shield or void, attacks can be reduced to 0.
4. Use Shield and Shield Ward to ensure that your team is even further protected against melee attacks!

Notable Rulesets

1. Up close and Personal - Only melee units may be used. This ensures that Demoralize will have a significant impact on your opponent's strategy. Be warned! They may do the same to you.
2. Melee Mayhem - Because melee units can attack from any position with this rule set, your opponent may be more likely to stack their team with melee units. 

Notable Abilities

1. Thorns - Your opponent will still take damage from thorns, even if their attack is reduced. use amplify to increase their returned damage. 
2. Inspire - Grants +1 melee attack to friendly units. This is a solid counter to demoralize, that is, until the inspiring unit is destroyed!

Summoners that Reduce Melee Attack

Crypt Mancer detracts -1 Melee, -1 Speed, and -1 Max Health from your opponent's team.

With a mana cost of 3, Zintar Mortalis is especially valuable in rulesets that require the use of melee units. As an Alpha/Beta summoner, they are unplayable in the Modern format.

Camile Sungazer can come in handy with low mana cap battles. The ability to use dragon cards in addition to your selected element can make all the difference.
