Camouflage
"This Monster cannot be targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position."
This monster remains hidden, despite sneak, snipe, or opportunity rulesets.
Notable Rulesets
Top 3 Rulesets | Bottom 3 Rulesets |
Super Sneak - Strategically place your camouflaged monster in the back row - they are invisible to your opponents monsters until they are in the first position | Aimless - Monsters with Scattershot can land attacks on your Camouflaged monster. |
Heavy Hitters - monsters will do double damage to stunned enemies. A monster with camouflage avoids detection and can deal out damage longer! | Earthquake - Currently, no flying monsters have camouflage - causing these monsters to take damage from earthquake each round. |
Target Practice - All ranged and magic monsters gain the snipe ability. Gang up on your opponents monsters while avoiding detection! | Explosive Weaponry - Even though camouflaged monsters can not take direct damage unless they are in the first position, they can still take damage from blast |
Notable Abilities
Top 3 Abilities | Bottom 3 Abilities |
Opportunity - Destroy monsters with low health whilst avoiding detection | Return Fire - If your opponent plays a monster with the return fire ability, your camouflaged monster will take damage! |
Cleanse - ensure that your tank is cleansed of negative effects - extending their life and allowing you to land more attacks before detection! | Magic Reflect - If your opponent plays a monster with the magic reflect ability, your camouflaged monster will take damage! |
Affliction - Ensure that your enemies tank is not able to heal while avoiding detection, even with snipe! | Last Stand - this ability is not ideal for monster with camouflage. As the last monsters standing, they will gain increased stats - 1.5X rounded up. Even this might not be enough to save them! |
Remarkable Interactions
- Multiple camouflaged monsters can be used for the same battle. Consider whether spreading your opponent's attacks out more will be of benefit to you.
- Camouflage can be of most benefit when placed in the last position. However this may not always be the case. Venator Kinjo is invaluable within the second position when Blast is a factor. His reflection shield prevents him from taking blast damage!
Summoners with Camouflage
Lily Shieldpaw offers +1 health, Triage, and Camouflage to all friendly monsters. Consider the benefits of using this summoner with rulesets such as Super Sneak and Equal Opportunity. Ensure that your tank has enough support to withstand the onslaught while your camouflaged monsters pick off your opponent's team.
