Remarkable Interactions

1. Check the Batte Rules and Targeting Interactions article for extra information regarding when the reach ability changes to another ability due to the Modifier.

Notable Modifiers

1. Heavy Hitters - doubles attack on stunned Units. Increase the focus on your opponent's Unit in the first position by including a Unit with reach.
2. Stampede - If you include Units with the trample ability in your lineup, reach increases the odds that the trample ability will be triggered and turn into a stampede! 
3. Fog of war - All Units lose the sneak, snipe and opportunity abilities. This allows your opponent to focus more heavily on the front line. Consider whether a Unit with reach, or one with opportunity or scattershot is more useful here.

Notable Abilities

1. Reflection Shield is an excellent ability for a Unit with Reach. These Units do not take damage from Thorns or Blast!
2. Enrage - when damaged, your Unit will have increased melee attack and speed. The blast Modifier may be the perfect opportunity to utilize a Unit with reach and enrage. 
3. Charge - Units with Charge may attack from any position. Back up your reaching Unit with Charge to deal even more melee damage to your opponent!

Summoners with Reach:

Possibilus The Wise grants all melee Unit the reach ability, in addition to the Trample ability and +2 health. This summoner is exceedingly useful with any Modifiers that dictate the use of many melee Units.
