Born Again

All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self Resurrect once.

Born Again Modifier Interactions

Noxious Fumes: All units are Poisoned at the start of the game. Units returned to life via Rebirth are Cleansed - no longer Poisoned and free of Negative Status Effects.
- Within this Modifier, Poison is a one-time application. Cleansed, Resurrected, or Rebirthed units will not be re-applied with poison (unless they are struck by a Poisoning attack post-cleanse).
- Cleanse your tank or use Cleanse Rearguard to prevent a backline unit from taking Poison damage.
- Use Dispel to clear Positive Status Effects from your opponent. They may try to increase the longevity of their team with Strengthen or Protect - rebuke their efforts with dispel.
Weak Magic: When Rebirthed, units return to life with one health and full armor. Consider buffing your team's armor with Protect. Ensure that it lasts with Repair. Use healers to increase your team's health.
Target Practice: What better scenario to place a unit with Martyr in a Snipeable position? With Rebirth, your Martyr will buff up to two units on your team - twice!

Runicore and Chaos Battle Mage are currently the only cards with Rebirth. When played within the Born Again Modifier, they will only be Rebirthed once.
Include a unit with Resurrect on your team to grant one unit a third chance at life. Be sure they are protected with Void Armor or have a healer standing by to ensure they last.
Cripple is removed after a unit is Rebirthed. Unless struck by another attack with Cripple, the rebirth unit can regain full health via healing.
Each death within the Born Again Modifier nets +1 health to the Scavenger - a sumptuous feast!
Use Risquerel Drath to make your opponent pay twice by using Taunt and Redemption on a member of your team. Want even more bang for your buck? Place Taunt on a card with Martyr - ensuring that adjacent cards fly away with +2 to all stats.
