Units lose all abilities.

1. When abilities are lost, players must rely more heaving on Stats as well as Attack Order and Accuracy to build viable teams. 
2. Abilities granted via Archon buffs and tactics remain.
3. Abilities are not Bloodlines. Units can still gain buffs via Bloodline Dominion.

Back to Basics Modifier Interactions

1. Equalizer is a Stat Based Modifier. When abilities are absent, rely on attack power and speed to bring your opponent down. Ensure that you do not unwittingly provide your opponent with advantages by selecting a unit with too much health!
2. Armored Up. With extra armor in play, it may be the right time to rely on magic attacks - which bypass armor and strike health directly (unless Void Armor is in play). 
3. Reverse Speed - Remember to modify your strategy accordingly when attack order is reversed! Striking first may make or break your team.
