Avatars are an exciting new enhancement to the Splinterlands universe. Players can customize the physical appearance of the avatar. Stats and abilities can be customized on the Exemplar (player card) using points gained by leveling up your card with glint. These player cards can be used in certain tournaments, and custom challenges. Badges showcase various achievements and milestones.

How to Customize Your Avatar and Exemplar
Step 1: Go to www.splinterlands.com and click your name.
Step 2: Click Edit Avatar (red box).
Step 3: To edit your Avatar, first select a bloodline. Choose between human, orc, elf, and dwarf. Each option has 2 body types.
- Your bloodline can be changed 5 times before a Polymorph Potion is required. These items are crafted by other players using Aura from land and are available on the non-card market.
After you have selected a bloodline, utilize the side arrows and color dropdowns to adjust various features, add accessories, clothing, frame, and background.

Step 4: Now that your appearance is set, go to the Edit Exemplar page. Each player begins with 20 points to spend on various upgrades, including stats, abilities, and mana cost. Level up your player using Glint (green arrow below).
- Each player begins with 10 free charges to reset stats and change element on the player card. After the free charges are used, changes require a Capacity Flux. These items are crafted by other players using Aura from land and are available on the non-card market.
What Are Badges?
Badges showcase various achievements, milestones, and Runi. Customize their placement by selecting a slot and clicking your desired badge. Changes save automatically.
