Allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate.

Remarkable Interactions

1. While this unit is alive, abilities that trigger on the death of a unit are suppressed. These abilities include Bloodlust, Redemption, Scavenger, Martyr, Resurrect, Rebirth, Trample, Bloodline Tribute, Soul Siphon, Poison Burst, and Resurgence.
2. Final Rest works against all units on the field and is not limited to one team.
3. Stun has no impact on Final Rest. The ability remains active until the unit with Final Rest dies.
4. Final Rest and its effects cannot be Cleansed. The only way to disable Final Rest is to defeat the unit wielding it. 
5. Units with Final Rest and abilities that trigger on their own death (e.g. Martyr) can have these abilities trigger on their own death (unless there is another active Final Rest).
6. Units that have abilities that are suppressed by Final Rest can use their abilities whenever the unit with Final Rest is not on the field. 
   • Scavenger can trigger while the unit with Final Rest is temporarily off the field (awaiting Resurrection/Rebirth). 
7. Note that certain abilities, such as Spite, trigger before the unit is removed from play. As such, these abilities are not suppressed since the ability is triggered directly before the unit dies.
8. Immunity does not prevent units from experiencing the effects of Final Rest.

Notable Modifiers

1. Born Again - Rebirth will not trigger while a unit with Final Rest is alive.
2. Noxious Fumes - Any ruleset where your opponent may rely on the untimely death of their units to buff their team is where Final Rest shines. Prevent your opponent from benefiting from the death of any units!
