What are Gladiator Cards?
Gladiator cards are special Soulbound (non-transferable) items contained in Gladius Cases. Each case costs 2,000 merits and contains 5 cards. To obtain these cases, guild membership is required. Gladius cases are only purchasable from a Level 2 guild store. They also make your deck competitive in both Ranked Battles and Brawls. These cards add value to your unique Splinterlands account.
What makes Gladiator Cards so Special?
All Gladiator cards have the Bloodlust ability. When a card with bloodlust defeats an opponent, +1 is added to all of its stats. Consider the devastation that can be wreaked when drafting a team with multiple units with Bloodlust . At Level 1, both Jared Scar and Grum Flameblade possess the bloodlust ability. When paired with a Gladiator card like Chimney Wallstop, the team can be unstoppable.
Take Note: Bloodlust can be Dispelled
