What are Collector Binders?
Collector Binders are a collectible album experience for Splinterlands cards. Players can organize owned cards into binders, customize the binder display, add stickers and public card notes, and view binders that belong to other players.
Cards are not trapped inside a binder. Collector Binder is a showcase and organization feature, not a card transfer, burn, rental, or market action.
Where is Collector located?
Use the Collect icon in the navigation bar to to claim, view, edit, and share binders.
Players can view their own binders or look up another player's public binders.

Who can claim a free binder?
Every account may claim one free Collector Binder, including lite accounts.
Existing players must claim the free binder from the Collector page. Free binders are not automatically dropped into accounts.
What comes with a new binder?
Each new binder includes:
- 1 customizable binder.
- 3 pages.
- 9 card slots per page.
- 1 year joined sticker
- Some accounts will receive other stickers if they had participated in events like Winterfest and Splinterfest.
Players can rename binders, arrange cards manually, and customize how the binder appears.
Does my free binder start full of cards?
No. Binders start empty so players can choose which cards to show.
Players may use the Autofill shortcut to quickly fill empty slots with owned premium foil cards. This shortcut is optional and does not place more cards than the binder has available empty slots.
Which cards can I place in a binder?
Players can place owned Splinterlands cards in a binder.
Delegated-in cards are not owned by the player and should not be available for binder placement. Cards that are still owned by the player may show state badges when relevant, such as locked, listed for sale, on land, on a wagon, delegated out, or rented.
Can the same card appear in more than one binder?
Yes. The same card UID may appear in multiple binders owned by the same account.
Within a single binder, a card should only appear once.
Can I still use, sell, rent, delegate, or transfer cards that are in a binder?
Yes. Placing a card in a binder does not change card ownership or normal card behavior.
If a card leaves your account through a transfer, sale, burn, combine, or similar ownership-changing action, it should be removed from your binder slots. Any binder note for that card in that binder is also removed.
What happens if I remove a card from a binder?
If you remove a card from a binder slot but still own the card, the card is removed from the layout but its binder note may remain saved for that card in that binder.
If you place the same card back into that binder later, the note can appear again.
How can I add cards to my binder?
- Select a Binder from your shelf to open on your table top.
Press the Add Cards/Stickers button to reveal the filters.
- On mobile, the filters and cards appear at the bottom, so you must scroll down to see your cards.
Utilize the filters to screen for cards you wish to add. Use the Collapse Filters button to reveal a longer list of cards.
Select cards by clicking and dragging or clicking a card then clicking the desired location. Once your filters are set, you can use the green Autofill button.
- On mobile, tapping a card results in a grid view that lets you tap the spot you want the card to go.
How many pages can a binder have?
Each binder starts with 3 pages and can hold up to 30 pages.
Each card page has 9 card slots.
Can I buy more binders or pages?
Yes. Additional binders and pages can be purchased with DEC or Credits.
Planned pricing:
- Additional binder: 5,000 DEC or Credits.
- Additional page: 200 DEC or Credits.
Purchased pages are account-level page entitlements until they are assigned to a binder. Use the ADD PAGES TO BINDER button to purchase and add pages.
After purchasing pages, you can select which binder to add them to and determine where you would like them placed.
Can I buy extra pages before choosing a binder?
Yes. Purchased pages belong to your account first. After purchase, assign the page to the binder where you want to use it.
A binder cannot exceed the configured maximum page count.
Can I buy another binder before claiming my free one?
No. Players should claim their free binder before purchasing additional binders.
Are Collector Binders public?
Yes. Binders are public by default. Players can view another player's binder collection or open a direct link to a specific binder. Simply type a players username into the Player Collection search box. You can use the copy icon to the right of the search box to copy and share links as well.
What are card notes?
Card notes are public notes attached to a specific card inside a specific binder.
Notes follow the card if it is moved to another slot in the same binder. Notes are not global across every binder, and the same card can have different notes in different binders. To add a note, tap or click the card from your binder view, and tap or click the EDIT NOTE button.
- Use the side arrows to move through your other cards and add notes.
Can other players see my notes?
Yes. Card notes are public in binder views. Do not include private, sensitive, or account-security information in card notes.
What are Collector stickers?
Collector stickers are ownable items that can be placed on binder surfaces. At launch, stickers may be placed on binder inside covers and card sleeve pages.
Sticker packs can be purchased in the shop or gained through participation in special events
Can I move stickers after placing them?
Yes. Stickers can be repositioned and moved between binders owned by the same account.
After first placement, normal Collector stickers become soulbound to the account and cannot leave the account.
Do I get a sticker with my free binder?
Yes. Claiming a free binder grants a year-claimed/year-joined Collector sticker.
This sticker is soulbound on creation and is not automatically placed on the binder.
Can I customize my binder?
Yes. Players can customize binder names, cover and spine selections, and tabletop/background display options.
Three tabletop backgrounds are free for everyone at launch.
Are there premium backgrounds?
Yes. The Collector store is planned to include 4 premium tabletop backgrounds.
Planned placeholder pricing is 3,000 DEC or Credits each. Premium background ownership is account-level and can be used across binders.
What is the bookshelf?
The bookshelf lets players browse and choose between multiple binders. Binders can be rearranged on the bookshelf. Use the button in the upper right corner to show or hide your bookshelf.
Can I rename a binder?
Yes. Binder names can be customized. Click or tap the Customize Binder button to do so.
What does the last saved time mean?
The last saved time shows when a binder's layout or presentation was last saved.
If you edit a binder in more than one browser or session, refresh if the page warns that a newer version exists.
Does Collector Binder support trading from the binder?
No. Trading directly from binders is not part of the initial release. Collector Binder creates a foundation for future trade-interest and trade-offer features, but the initial release is focused on collecting, organizing, customizing, and sharing.
Players may choose to buy or rent cards from a binder that are listed in the market place.
