What are Conflicts?
Conflicts are a new airdrop system for the Rebellion set. Previously, players received airdrops based on the number of packs purchased with no requirement to continue to hold them. With Conflicts, players must contribute to the war effort (by purchasing Mage Wagons and staking Rebellion packs and cards within these wagons) to accumulate chances at an airdrop. There will be 9 Conflicts in total, each lasting around 30 days.
What Happens to My Mage Wagons when Conflicts Ends?
When Conflicts end, players may wish to remove all cards and packs from their Mage Wagons using the clear all button found on the final Manage Wagons screen. Though wagons will no longer be in use, they will reside in your inventory under Conflict Items.
What are the Requirements to Participate in Conflicts?
To participate in Conflicts, players need the following:
- Mage Wagon(s) may be purchased for 10,000 DEC, or 10,000 Credits each.
- Rebellion cards or unopened Rebellion packs.
- These items must be owned by you.
- Cards that are delegated or rented to you may NOT be used in Conflicts.
- Cards that you have delegated out or listed on the market may NOT be used in Conflicts.
- Each Mage Wagon allows up to 5 cards and 100 packs to be staked.
**Note: packs do not need to be purchased directly from the Splinterlands shop to participate in Conflicts. They may be purchased on the Non-Card Market.
How Do I Participate in Conflicts?
Follow this guide: How to Enter Conflicts.
QuickStart: Navigate to the Conflicts page via the Header Menu.
- Next, purchase Mage Wagons and stake your owned Rebellion cards and packs to begin contributing to the war effort.
- **Prior to entering Conflicts, be sure to adjust your settings to a comfortable listening volume.
Should I Be Aware of Any Cooldown Periods?
Cards and packs removed from Mage Wagons are NOT subject to cooldown and will be immediately available for transfer, sale, or use on land.
However, actions regarding the management of your Mage Wagons are subject to cooldown periods:
- After you add cards to a Mage Wagon, there is a 15-minute cooldown before you can adjust its contents. When you hover over the wagon, the text On Cooldown and a countdown timer will appear.
- There is a 60-minute cooldown before you may use the bulk Auto-Fill feature again (after filling all available wagons).
- After using the bulk Clear All feature, a 15-minute cooldown occurs before you may use it again.
- Wagon management actions (i.e., staking and unstaking cards and packs) may not be taken for 15 minutes before the end of the Conflict period.
- At the end of the Conflict, players who participated can claim their rewards after a 15-minute processing window.
- Wagon management actions may not be taken for the first 15 minutes after the start of a new Conflict.
What Happens When I Add Rebellion Cards to a Conflict?
To participate in a Conflict, only Rebellion cards that you own can be staked to a Mage Wagon (cards delegated or rented—either to you or by you—may not be used). An icon on your collection page will indicate cards that are in use on your Mage Wagons.
- Cards actively participating in a Conflict are available for play in brawls, tournaments, and ranked play.
- Cards actively participating in a Conflict may NOT be traded, rented, delegated, combined, or sold.
Cards may be removed from Conflicts at any time and will be instantly available for transfer or sale without cooldown.
You may view cards staked on Mage Wagons by using the On Wagons filter within your collection page.
What Happens When I Add Rebellion Packs to a Conflict?
Mage Wagons increase the total packs you can stake in a Conflict by 100. Staked packs are removed from the mana well balance and added to your Conflicts balance as indicated by the green arrow below.
To remove your packs from Conflicts, click the + next to the balance and select the Remove tab. Input the number of packs you wish to remove and click the Remove Packs button.
- Capacity shows the number of packs you have staked versus the available wagon capacity for packs.
- Packs Available shows the number of packs in your inventory available to stake.
How are Points for Conflicts Calculated?
Contribution to Conflicts is calculated based on the total Collection Power of your staked cards.
- (CP x hours left in the Conflict)/100,000 = Chances
- Each staked pack adds 100 Contribution per hour towards the Conflict.
- The total collection power of the cards in a Mage Wagon (max of 5 cards), combined with its staked packs, determines its Contribution per hour.
- Higher-level cards have higher collection power and contribute more to the war effort.
- For every 100,000 Contribution accumulated, 1 chance at an airdrop is granted. No half or partial chances will be awarded.
- For every 200 chances, 1 card is guaranteed.
- For the duration of the Conflict, your staked cards and packs will continuously contribute to the war effort.
- Each Conflict will last around 30 days and may be joined any time before it ends.
- Review How to Calculate Conflicts Contribution and Airdrop Chances for a step-by-step walkthrough for determining your total chances throughout the Conflict.
View the Estimated Chances based on cards staked by hovering over the chances box.
What Happens After a Conflict Ends?
- Staking and unstaking actions may not be taken for 15 minutes before the end of the Conflict.
- At the end of the Conflict, players who participated can claim their rewards after a 15-minute processing window.
- A new Conflict will start immediately after the previous one ends.
- Participants’ Contribution will reset to 0 for the new Conflict.
- Mage Wagons with staked cards or packs will automatically begin contributing to the next Conflict.
Each Conflict will have an airdrop card that all participants have a chance to earn.
If your Chances don’t earn any copies of the Conflict’s airdrop card, it’s still possible to get them in card packs or on the market. All airdrop cards can be found in Rebellion card packs after their respective Conflict event has ended.
