For a comprehensive look at Resource Production, review The Secret of Praetoria - Phase 1.5.
What is Resource Production?
Resource production within Land Phase 1.5 is the means by which your workers may mine SPS, produce grain, or take part in the research that will eventually uncover the Secret of Praetoria. A power source and cards must be staked on land while dark energy must be staked to the region. Be sure to have enough grain to feed your workers during the harvest! You may also choose to create a new worksite if you would like to produce a different resource.
How can I maximize my resource production?
When you stake cards on a plot, consider the terrain preferences and land type production boosts. In order to maximize your production, you must stake the cards with the highest production points for that specific terrain type. You can also use time crystals to speed up production. You must also stake Dark Energy to that region - striving to get as close as possible to the amount specified in the Energy Demand fields.
Do I have to pay taxes on my resource production?
Yes. In Land Phase 1.5, a 10% tax will be collected during harvest.
What about Castles and Keeps?
Castles and Keeps do not produce resources in the same way as other plots of land. While Castles and Keeps still require worker cards, power sources, and dark energy to be staked, they must channel their workers efforts in to maintaining the magical connection between these buildings throughout the continent of Praetoria. As compensation for these efforts, Castle and Keep owners collect resources via taxes.
