What is resource production?
Within Praetoria, landowners may use workers to manufacture various resources. Review the whitepaper for a comprehensive look at production.
Resource production rates
Production Rates Per Production Point Per Hour:
Every base Production Point spent per hour toward SPS or Research production will require an additional:
- 0.005 Wood
- 0.002 Stone
- 0.0005 Iron
To put it simply, for every 1 Production Point put in towards SPS or Research production, you will also need to have 1 Production Point worth of Wood, Iron, and Stone - in addition to the Grain costs, which remain unchanged.
The rate of SPS production varies based on player activity.
For every 10,000 Production points, players receive 1 research token (minus 10% for taxes).
How can I maximize my resource production?
When you stake cards on a plot, consider the terrain preferences and land type production boosts. To maximize your production, you must stake the cards with the highest production points for that specific terrain type.
Do I have to pay taxes on my resource production?
Yes. In Land Phase 1.5, a 10% tax will be collected during harvest.
What about Castles and Keeps?
Castles and Keeps do not produce resources in the same way as other plots of land. While Castles and Keeps still require worker cards, power sources, and dark energy to be staked, they must channel their worker's efforts into maintaining the magical connection between these buildings throughout the continent of Praetoria. As compensation for these efforts, Castle and Keep owners collect resources via taxes.
