For a comprehensive look at Grain, please review The Secret of Praetoria - Phase 1.5.
What is Grain?
Grain is a consumable resource required by your cards that are working on land. In addition to a Power Source, grain keeps your workers functional and able to contribute to resource production. In future phases of Land, other types of food will become available.
Users who purchased the Time Vault starter package received 150 time crystals in addition to 15,000 Grain. These players may begin production without purchasing grain.
At What Rate do Workers Consume Grain?
.01 Grain per base production points per hour. Base production excludes production boosts including land rarity, titles, and totems.
- a max level Chaos Legion Common card produces 1,000 PP / hour, which means it must consume 10 Grain / hour.
When Do I Need Grain?
Grain is required during harvest. If you choose to forego the Build Instantly with Time Crystals option, you must also pay grain at the completion of building a worksite and if you choose to change your worksite.
How Can I Produce Grain?
As grain is required to produce resources, players may choose to farm grain before switching to a different method of resource production (Mining SPS or Research).
Grain will be produced at a rate of .02 PP per hour. Workers will consume a portion of the grain that they are actively farming.
Follow this guide: Building a Worksite: Resource Production.

How Can I Transfer Grain?
Please follow the following guides to transfer grain based on where the grain is:
-
Transfer Grain from one Region to another Region (to yourself or a different user)
-
Transfer Grain from your Inventory to another Region (to yourself or a different user)
Please note that transferring grain outside of its region will incur a 12.5% transportation fee.
How Can I Store Grain?
In Land Phase 1.5, grain storage is not available. This feature is planned for Land Phase 2.
Is my Grain taxed?
In Land Phase 1.5, all resources produced will be taxed at a 10% rate. Collected by the Castles and Keeps, these taxes contribute to infrastructure and service costs. The owners of Castles and Keeps may capture a portion of these resources while the rest will be burned.
