What is Grain?
Grain is a consumable resource required by your land workers. In addition to a Power Source, Grain keeps your workers functional and able to contribute to Resource Production. In future phases of Land, other types of food will become available.

At What Rate Do Workers Consume Grain?
.01 Grain per base production points per hour. Base production excludes production boosts including land rarity, titles, and totems.
- a max-level Chaos Legion Common card produces 1,000 PP/hour, which means it must consume 10 Grain per hour.
When Do I Need Grain?
Grain is required during Harvest. If you choose to forego the Build Instantly with Time Crystals option, you must also pay grain after Building a Worksite and if you choose to Change your Worksite.
How Can I Produce Grain?
As Grain is required to produce resources, players may choose to farm Grain before switching to a different method of resource production (Mining SPS or Research).
Grain will be produced at a rate of .02 PP per hour. Workers will consume a portion of the grain that they are actively farming.

What terrain types support Grain?
Grain Farms are only supported by certain Terrain Types.
- Plains, River, Bog, Lake

Swap DEC or other natural resources for Grain using the Land Trade Hub.
How Can I Transfer Grain?
Please follow the following guides to transfer grain based on where the grain is:

How Can I Store Grain?
In Land Phase 1.5, grain storage is not available. This feature is planned for Land Phase 2.
Is my Grain taxed?
In Land Phase 1.5, all resources produced will be taxed at a 10% rate. Collected by the Castles and Keeps, these taxes contribute to infrastructure and service costs. The owners of Castles and Keeps may capture a portion of these resources while the rest will be burned.
