To earn your first set of Foundation cards, play through Book 1 of the Campaign. These cards are playable in Modern and Wild formats and earn rewards. While you can use these cards to earn soulbound reward cards, some players may wish to supplement their decks further with cards from the market or packs from the in-game shop.
Renting Cards

- Season Card Rentals are available on the Splinterlands Market
- Rent a Set - Ensure that the set is playable in Modern format (Rebellion & Conclave Arcana).
- Rent an entire deck on Peakmonsters
- Log in to Peakmonsters with Hive Keychain
- Navigate to My Decks and select All Decks
- Review the decks, and select your desired rental option
Purchase Cards or Packs
- Purchase Packs from the Splinterlands Store.
- To purchase Credits via PayPal or Credit Card, complete Identity Verification.
- Using crypto does not require ID Verification.
- Purchase Cards from the Market.
