Witch Hunt

Ranged units deal double Ranged damage to units with magic.
- When Witch Hunt is active, Ranged attackers deal extra damage to targets that have Magic Attack. Witch Hunt only increases Ranged damage against units with Magic Attack.
- A Ranged attack deals double base damage against a unit with Magic Attack.
- The target must currently have Magic Attack.
- Witch Hunt does not increase Melee or Magic damage.
- Witch Hunt does not give Ranged Attack to units that do not already have it.
Witch Hunt Strategy
Witch Hunt punishes teams that rely heavily on Magic units. Ranged attackers become especially valuable because they can remove Magic attackers much faster than usual.
Consider using:
- Strong Ranged attackers to pressure Magic-heavy teams.
- Headwinds to reduce enemy Ranged damage if you expect your own Magic units to be targeted.
- Protect, Armor, or Void Armor to help Magic units survive Ranged pressure.
- Shield to reduce incoming Ranged damage.
- Fast Ranged units or accuracy support to make sure your boosted attacks land.
Witch Hunt Modifier Interactions
- Broken Arrows limits or removes normal Ranged team options, reducing the value of Witch Hunt.
- Fire and Regret's Return Fire can punish Ranged attackers, even when they are using Witch Hunt to target Magic units.
