**Land 1.5 is currently only available on the Maverick's Server.
For a comprehensive look at Power Sources, review The Secret of Praetoria - Phase 1.5.
What is a Power Source?
Power Sources are required to allow cards staked on land to participate in Resource Production. Power sources run on Dark Energy though they do not deplete the staked DEC that comprises Dark Energy. Currently, two Power Sources exist. Runi and Power Cores.
Can I purchase a Power Core?
Power sources can be purchased by burning 5,000 DEC or DEC-B. Follow the steps in this article: How to Purchase a Power Core.
**Power sources were previously available within the Building in a Box Starter Package.
Can Runi act as a Power Source?
Yes. Runicore can act as a power source on land (but are not included in the Mavs release). Review Managing Your Runi on Land for a step by step guide.
-
Runi must be delegated to your Hive account before they can be used on land. Staking them on land does not require any additional Ethereum transactions.
-
Runi will provide a 100% PP boost to the base production of the entire plot. This is equivalent to a Legendary Totem and can be combined with a Legendary (or other rarity) Totem for even more increased benefits.
-
Runi acts as a power source and does not require DEC to be staked to fuel that particular plot.
-
Plots that have both a Power Source and a Runi will be able to have an extra worker card, for a max of six workers instead of 5.
- Runi counts as normal max-level Legendary cards for the base production points, but only one Runi card can be used on each land plot.
