**Land 1.5 is currently only available on the Maverick's Server.
Dark Energy is required to fuel your power core which in turn charges your workers. Dark Energy is created by staking DEC to a specific region. You may stake DEC prior to staking cards and items on land if you desire. You may add more dark energy at any time, but unstaking is not possible without Unstaking Cards and Items from Land.
DEC may be staked to land in three areas:
- Region View
- Dark Energy Balance
- Build Worksite view
- This is only available if no Dark Energy has been staked to that region.
Staking DEC to Land - Region View
Dark Energy must be added to each region you own plots in - if you want to power your workers.
Step 1: Navigate to Land using the icon in the header menu.
Step 2: Click the Production button.
Step 3: Click the golden arrow to the right of the Last Claimed Icon associated with the Region you wish to stake DEC to.
Step 4: Click the + within the Dark Energy box.
Step 5: Input the amount of DEC you wish to stake into the Stake Amount box.
Step 6: Click Stake DEC and confirm the transaction.
Step 7: Note your updated Dark Energy balance.
Staking DEC to Land - Dark Energy Balance
Step 1: After Staking Cards and Items to land but prior to Building a Worksite, you may stake DEC to land by clicking the green plus next to your Dark Energy balance.
Step 2: View the amount of DEC required for max production, and determine the amount of Dark Energy you wish to stake.
Step 3: Input the amount of DEC you wish to stake, and click Stake DEC.
Step 4: View the Dark Energy Powered-up notification and your updated Dark Energy balance within that region.
Now that you have Dark Energy Staked, you may begin Building a Worksite.
Staking DEC to Land - Build Worksite View
If you have staked cards and items to land, but have not yet added dark energy to that region, you will be prompted to do so on the Build Worksite screen. You may click Stake more here. in order to do so.
