Managing Game Settings
Step 1: Click the settings gear adjacent to your username in the top right corner of the screen. Click it to view the drop-down menu and select settings.
Step 2: Select the appropriate tab to adjust your settings.
- General - Manage your interactions with Splinterlands, including sound, gameplay, and potion usage.
- Notifications - Manage the new player tips and notifications related to guilds, tournaments, and rentals.
- Security - Manage your email and account authorities.
- Wallets - Link external wallets here.
- Socials - Link social media accounts here.
General
- Show low card warning - When enabled this will pop up a warning if you have 10 or fewer cards in your collection when you attempt to queue for ranked battles.
Graphics

Animation Quality - Control the size of animations that will play in the game.
- Low Quality will only play very small animated images. Medium Quality will play any animations under 500k in size, and High Quality will play all animations on the site. High Quality is the default.
- Battle Quality - Adjusts the quality of the Battles. Lower settings may reduce lag on older devices.
- Skip Brawl Animations - Used to skip animations in Brawls. To participate in brawls, you must join a guild. Learn about the benefits of joining a guild.
- Skip Battle Intro - Choose to bypass the auditory battle introduction.
Audio
- Mute all sounds - Choose to enable or disable all sounds in game, or alter specific volumes.
- Master Volume - The master volume slider is available in the header menu. You can adjust volume on any qualifying page on the Splinterlands site. Use the slider in settings to set the relative volume.
- Sound FX Volume - toggle the volume of sound effects (battle sounds, card noises, etc).
- Music Volume - toggle the background music volume.

Notifications Volume - toggle the sound of in-game notifications.
- Note: this includes sounds played when an enemy is found and time warnings when creating a team.
Item Locking
- Lock new Splinterlands cards from packs/rewards by default - Locking And Unlocking Cards
- Lock new Soulkeep cards from packs/rewards by default - Locking And Unlocking Cards
- Input the number of days to lock cards - Cards can be locked to prevent sale or transfer. Enter the unlock time for cards. This is the amount of time that must pass after unlocking a card before it becomes tradeable. Review Locking And Unlocking Cards for more information.
Battles
- Hide battle results until viewed - Maintain an air of mystery by allowing battle results to remain hidden until specifically viewed.
- Streamer mode - Ideal for players streaming games live; this setting prevents spoiling battle results and limits your notifications. It also makes the game appear slightly more prominent.
- Use spacebar to play and pause battles - Ideal for players who enjoy keyboard controls.
- Use advanced speed controls - Enable more advanced speed controls.
- Block incoming challenges - Enable this to prevent other players from challenging you to a battle.
Misc

Use browser locale for number formatting - Use number formatting based on your browser's language settings. E.g. Numbers can be displayed in US/UK format 1,000.000 or 1.000,000 for international users.
- Show profanity - Use this filter to replace profanity with asterisks.
Notifications
- Enable desktop notifications - Allow desktop notifications to be visible or disable them completely.
- Enable tournament notifications - Enable or disable notifications for tournaments.
- Enable Brawl notifications - Enable or disable notifications for Brawls.
- Enable Rental expiration notifications - Enable or disable notifications for rental expirations.
- Enable Delegation expiration notifications - Enable or disable notifications for delegation expirations.
- Enable Guild Invites - Enable or disable guild invites.
- New Player Tips - Review all tips and their status. Toggle the tip widget on and off, or reset tips. Hover over each tip to review the full text.
Security
Update the email associated with your account here. In order to process requests for tech support, players must email from the address we have on file associated with that account

Wallets
Link external wallets to Splinterlands. Having trouble? First, try How to Link an External Wallet to Splinterlands (such as Metamask). If that does not work, review First Checks for Wallet Connection Issues. If you are still unable to connect, reach out to tech support using the in-game chat or via e-mail--Submit a request – Splinterlands.
Socials
Players may wish to link their socials to Splinterlands for promotional purposes. Select the Socials tab, and enter the account name of your socials.
Next, click Link, and follow the steps to log in to your social account. After linking accounts, you will be able to unlink if you desire. Only one Splinterlands account can be linked to a social account.
