Transferring DEC/SPS to and from Hive-Engine

In this article, we will go through the process of moving both DEC and SPS to and from Hive-Engine, using the DEC and SPS dashboards in-game.

Dark Energy Crystals - DEC

Step 1: Navigate to the DEC dashboard by clicking the DEC balance bar in the top right of the game:

Step 2: On the right half of the page, you'll see the Transfer DEC section.  This is what you'll use for both moving DEC to Hive-Engine, as well as back into the game from Hive-Engine.  Since both of these functions just use your Hive keys and sign Hive blockchain transactions, you don't need to navigate to an external wallet, like with a BSC token transfer into the game.

Step 3: You will then see Transfer In and Transfer Out, pictured below.  If you want to move FROM Splinterlands TO Hive-Engine, click the circle to the left of Transfer Out. To move FROM Hive-Engine TO Splinterlands, click the circle to the left of Transfer In.

Step 4: After selecting the direction of transfer, enter the quantity of DEC you want to move, then click transfer

Step 5: Confirm the transaction via Keychain using your active key permissions: 

Step 6: Once successful, you will see one of the two banners pictured below on the top right of the screen.

"Tokens sent!" will be displayed when DEC is received on Hive-Engine:

"You have received X DEC from sl-hive" will be displayed when DEC is received in-game:

Splintershards - SPS

Step 1: Navigate to the SPS dashboard by clicking the SPS balance in the top right of the game:

Step 2: On the left hand side of the dashboard, click the Transfer button to navigate to the Transfer page:

Step 3: The SPS transfer page works a bit differently from the above DEC dashboard.  You will select FROM and TO via the dropdown menus seen below.

Step 4: After selecting the direction of transfer, enter the quantity of SPS you want to move, and click Transfer: 

Step 4.5: If transferring out to Hive-Engine, you will need to confirm the transaction via a pop-up:

Step 5: Confirm the transaction via Keychain:

Step 6: Once successful, you will see the banners pictured below on the top right of the screen:

"Tokens sent!" will be displayed when SPS is received on Hive-Engine:

"Transaction sent! Please wait to receive your item(s) from Hive-Engine" will initially be displayed when you confirm a transaction from Hive-Engine into the game:

"You have received X SPS from sl-hive" will then be displayed once the transaction is processed and your SPS has arrived in-game.
