What is DEC-B and why does it exist?

A proposal was put forth on December 27th, 2022 to allow SPS stakeholders to Sell 2B DEC-B for DEC or Vouchers. DEC Batteries allow players to save on future in-game purchases by converting vouchers or DEC into DEC-B at a 20% discount. The token will have the same utility as DEC, but people who choose to exchange vouchers or DEC for DEC-B will end up with a net gain of 20%. 

**DEC-B is non-transferable.

When can I buy DEC-B? 

DEC-B became available for purchase starting on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 at 18:00 UTC.

What is the supply of DEC-B?

2,000,000,000 - When the 2 Billion token supply is exhausted, DEC-B will not be printed again. 

How long will DEC-B be available?

DEC-B will be available for 60 days (Sunday, April 9th 2023 at 18:00 UTC) or until the supply is depleted - whichever comes first. 

How do I get DEC-B?

What can DEC-B be spent on?

DEC-B can be used to purchase future in-game items. Examples of these include buildings in the Land expansion, upgrades to guild and alliance buildings, and potential mini-editions of cards - similar to the Orb and Dice sets. Skins and cosmetics are possible sinks for DEC-B as well. The proposal to Boost Land Survey Chances By Burning DEC/DEC-B ultimately failed, however additional proposals may be submitted related to DEC-B and land.

DEC-B can also be used to pay for Guild Building upgrades. 

Items sold by Splinterlands (such as Chaos Legion and Rebellion booster packs, and Tower Defense packs) will not be purchasable with DEC-B. Only items that burn DEC tokens will be purchasable with DEC-B.
