Modern Ranked uses a Bracket-based reward system. Players choose a Bracket at the beginning of the season, earn Reward Points from eligible battle wins, and receive their share of the Bracket's SPS reward pool at the end of the season.
Important: SPS is not paid directly after each Modern Ranked battle. The SPS Boost is applied when Reward Points are earned; it is not applied again to the final SPS distribution.
Modern Reward Points
Reward Points measure a player's contribution within their selected Modern Bracket during the current season. Eligible battle wins generate Reward Points. The amount earned may be modified by the player's SPS Boost and other applicable reward bonuses.
Reward Points are not SPS and do not have a fixed SPS conversion rate. Their value depends on the player's share of the total Reward Points earned by eligible players in the same Bracket, as well as the amount of SPS available in that Bracket's reward pool.
Player's share of the Bracket pool = Player Reward Points / Total eligible Reward Points in the Bracket
For example, if a player owns 10% of the eligible Reward Points in their Bracket, they are eligible for 10% of the distributable SPS in that Bracket, subject to the rules and individual reward cap that apply to the Bracket.
How the SPS Boost Works
The SPS Boost is a multiplier calculated from the amount of SPS staked, rented, or delegated to the player's account. It is not a percentage that is simply added to the other reward bonuses.
Applicable percentage bonuses are combined as part of the reward calculation, and the SPS Boost is then used to determine the final Reward Points earned from the battle.
Base reward value × applicable bonuses × SPS Boost = final Reward Points
The SPS Boost can reach a maximum of 13.3x. This is a multiplier, not a maximum bonus of 13.3%. Review Reward Multipliers from SPS Staking for more information.
Players may still participate in Modern Ranked without the maximum SPS Boost, but they will earn fewer Reward Points and applicable reward items than they would receive with the full multiplier for their selected Bracket.
End-of-Season SPS Distribution
Each Modern Bracket receives an allocated portion of the Modern SPS reward pool. At the end of the season, the distributable SPS for each Bracket is divided among eligible players according to their share of that Bracket's Reward Points.
The final SPS amount is affected by the Bracket's pool allocation, eligible participation in that Bracket, the total Reward Points earned by all eligible players in the Bracket, and any applicable individual reward cap.
Because these values change, there is no fixed relationship such as one Reward Point equaling one SPS.
Glint Rewards
Glint is earned from eligible Modern Ranked wins. The amount may be affected by the player's reward modifiers, including the SPS Boost and applicable card, guild, title, and win-streak bonuses.
Glint is separate from the Modern Bracket SPS pool. Increasing the SPS Boost may increase both Glint and Reward Points, but Glint is not converted into end-of-season SPS.
Fortune Entries
The SPS Boost also applies to Ranked Fortune Entry rewards. Players who do not have enough SPS staked, rented, or delegated for the full multiplier associated with their selected Bracket may receive fewer Fortune Entries than the full reward amount available.
An active Fortune Pass is required at the time of the weekly draw. If a player has accumulated Ranked Fortune Entries without an active Fortune Pass, those entries are not carried over to the next draw. Review Fortune Entries for full details.
Bonuses Applied to Modern Rewards
The following modifiers may affect rewards when they are eligible for the battle:
- Gold Foil Cards: +10% reward bonus for each eligible Gold Foil card used.
- Black Foil Cards: +20% reward bonus for each eligible Black Foil card used.
- Promo Cards: +10% reward bonus for each eligible Promo card used.
- SPS Boost: A multiplier based on the SPS staked, rented, or delegated to the account.
- Win Streak: An additional reward modifier may apply to consecutive Ranked wins.
- Guild Bonus: Eligible guild members may receive a bonus based on their guild buildings and membership status.
- Land Prefix Titles: Eligible Prefix titles may provide an additional Ranked reward bonus.
A bonus applies only when the card or account feature is eligible in the selected format and battle. Bonuses may be subject to additional restrictions.
Where to View Your Rewards

Ranked Fortune Entries can be reviewed in Currency Activity under Other > Ranked Entry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my SPS Boost multiply the SPS I receive at the end of the season?
No. The boost increases the Reward Points earned during the season. Those Reward Points determine the player's share of the Bracket's SPS pool. The SPS Boost is not applied a second time at distribution.
Is the SPS Boost a percentage bonus?
No. It is a multiplier. A displayed value such as 6.40 represents the player's SPS reward multiplier value, not an additional 6.40% bonus.
Is there a fixed Reward Point-to-SPS conversion?
No. The final amount depends on the player's share of eligible Reward Points within the Bracket and the SPS available for distribution from that Bracket's pool.
