Frontier is a free-to-play format where players can earn Foundations cards, chests, packs, Frontier Entries, and other Frontier rewards by completing daily activities and advancing through the leagues.
Important: Frontier does not require staked, rented, or delegated SPS. The SPS Boost does not affect Frontier rewards, and Frontier does not award SPS or Glint for individual battle wins.
Daily Rewards
Players earn daily Frontier rewards by completing the applicable daily activity. The reward is based on the player's current league and tier when the reward is claimed.
Daily rewards may include:
- Foundations Card Draws.
- Foundations Set Packs.
- Frontier Entries.
- Prizes from the daily Wheel Spin.
Higher Frontier tiers provide larger daily rewards. Players should advance as far as possible before claiming when the applicable activity permits it.

Frontier Entries
Frontier Entries provide chances to win special Foundations cards in the Weekly Frontier Draw. Entries may be obtained from:
- Daily Frontier rewards.
- Eligible Frontier leaderboard rewards.
- Burning eligible Foundations cards for Frontier Entries.
Frontier Entries are automatically entered into the active Weekly Frontier Draw. A Fortune Pass is not required for the Weekly Frontier Draw.
Frontier Entries are different from Ranked Fortune Entries earned through Modern, Wild, and Survival. They are also different from Fortune Tickets used in promotional Fortune Draws.
Weekly Frontier Draw
Weekly Frontier Draws distribute Black Foil and Arcane Variant Foundations cards. Current draw rules include:
- A maximum of one prize per account each week.
- Entries participate in the draw active when they are earned.
- Non-winning entries do not roll over and are burned after the draw.
- Leaderboard entries earned at the end of a season enter the draw active when the season ends.
- Players must log in and claim any prize they win.
- Unclaimed prizes expire 90 days after the final drawing in the series.
Always review the current Weekly Frontier Draw screen for the available prize pool, entry total, draw date, and claim status.
Burning Foundations Cards
Eligible Foundations cards may be permanently burned for Frontier Entries or Sparks. Frontier Entries obtained by burning are automatically added to the active Weekly Frontier Draw.
Burning a card is permanent and cannot be reversed. Cards burned beyond the amount required for an entry do not return partial entries or unused card value. Review Burning Cards for Frontier Entries or Sparks for the current conversion table and instructions.
Foundations Chests and Packs
Foundations Chests may contain Foundations cards, potions, or Frontier Energy. Current chest contents and probabilities are displayed in the Frontier reward information panel.
Foundations packs contain Regular Foil and Gold Foil Foundations cards. Black Foil and applicable Arcane Variant Foundations cards are distributed through designated draws or events rather than standard Foundations packs.
Legendary Potions and Alchemy Potions may affect eligible chest or pack results as described in the current in-game reward information.
Leaderboard Rewards
Eligible Frontier leaderboard placements may award additional rewards, including Frontier Entries. Entries awarded at the end of the season are placed into the Weekly Frontier Draw that is active when the season ends.
Review the Frontier leaderboard for the current placement requirements and available prizes.
