Verico Land Cards: FAQ
1. What are Verico Land Cards?
VIsions of Verico Land Cards are new Land-focused cards. Specifically designed for land with a variety of bloodlines, these cards unlock Land abilities as they level up.
Which abilities do Verico Land Cards have?
Each Bloodlines Land Card includes six abilities:

Some of the new abilities only require that a card be staked on a plot to unlock reward claims. Other abilities require full plot setup. Review below to learn which is which.
2. Card Staking Only
Use this path if you only want to use these claim or draw-style abilities:
- Alteration.
- Glint Recovery.
- Fortune Seeker.
For these abilities, players only need to stake the eligible Land Card onto a plot, then follow the claim or draw instructions when available. You do not need to fully set up the plot with a Power Core, staked DEC, and completed worksite unless you also want to use the production-related abilities.
How to stake the card onto a plot
- Go to Land.
- Open the Production view.
- Select the region and plot where you want to stake the card.
- Select the individual plot you wish to add your card to.
- Click Manage.
- Add the Land Card. You can use the Land Abilities column to quickly locate your land cards.
- Save changes and approve the transaction.
- Verify that your plots are counted in the Verico Shop.
3. Fully Set Up the Plot
Use this path if you want to use the production-related abilities in addition to the claim/draw style abilities:
- Toil and Kin.
- Rationing Lite.
- Dark Discount.
These abilities interact with normal Land production. Players who want to use them should fully set up the plot.
What does a fully set up plot need?
A full Land setup generally requires:
- A claimed and surveyed plot.
- Staked DEC / Dark Energy in the region.
- A Power Core or Runi assigned as the plot power source.
- Worker cards staked to the plot.
- For Toil and Kin, cards of the matching bloodline staked together on the plot.
- A worksite built for the plot if the player wants normal resource production.
For complete setup steps, use the Land User Guide.
How does Toil and Kin work?
Toil and Kin is a bloodline production bonus.
To use it, the card must be working on a Land plot with at least one other worker of the matching bloodline.
Players who want this bonus should stake the Verico Land Card and matching bloodline worker cards together on a properly set up plot.
How does Light Rationing work?
Rationing Lite reduces grain consumption for workers on eligible plots.
The announcement states that Rationing Lite functions like Rationing, but does not count on any plot with base Production Power over 20,000.
Players who want this benefit should use a fully set up plot where Land production and worker consumption apply.
How does Dark Discount work?
Dark Discount reduces Dark Energy requirements for a plot where the card is working.
Players who want this benefit should use a fully set up plot with the required Land power and Dark Energy setup.
Can I use both paths?
Yes. A player can stake Verico Land Cards for the easy claim/draw-style abilities and also fully set up plots for production-related abilities.
If you only care about Alteration, Glint Recovery, or Fortune Seeker, card staking is the simpler path.
If you want Toil and Kin, Rationing Lite, or Dark Discount, complete the full Land setup.
When and how do I claim rewards?
To be announced! Alteration, Glint Recovery, and Fortune Seeker are not active on launch to give players time to set up their plots. Keep an eye out for updates!
