What are Vouchers?

Vouchers are a benefit airdropped to players who have staked SPS or players who hold Node Licenses in-game.

• 20,000 Voucher tokens are distributed daily to players who have SPS tokens staked in-game accounts. The amount rewarded is based on the percentage of staked SPS you own compared to the total staked across all players in the game.

Players with vouchers can sell them to other players, who can then use them for their purchases.

Use Vouchers to purchase exclusive items in the Hall of Legends within the Splinterlands Shop.

How are Vouchers Distributed? 

Rewards for Staking SPS - The number of vouchers you receive will depend on how much SPS you have staked and the overall number of staked SPS.

• • The current drop rate of vouchers is 20,000 per day
  • When you Claim your SPS, vouchers will be claimed as well

Rewards for owning a Validator Node License - The amount of vouchers you will receive will vary based on how many licenses you own compared to how many licenses other players own.  20,000 vouchers are airdropped to license owners daily.

You can buy Vouchers at HIVE ENGINE with swap.hive. 

You can swap for Vouchers at TRIBALDEX with swap.hive or dec.

Where Can I view my Voucher balance?

You can view your voucher balance by clicking your liquid SPS balance, then navigating to the Voucher tab.

How Did Vouchers Change?

As of the update on 8/15/2024:

• Vouchers have been combined into a single in-game Voucher token.
• Vouchers may no longer be transferred to Hive-Engine, but can still be transferred into the game. 
• The rewards for the SPS: Voucher pool have been ended.
• The Voucher discount for Validator Node Licenses has ended.

As of the update on 9/3/2024:

• Vouchers can no longer be used for purchasing Energy, the Wild Pass, or Mage Wagons.

• Vouchers may no longer be used for a discount on Rebellion packs, and the price of Rebellion packs has been reduced from 5,000 to 4,000 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC).

• When sending Vouchers to another player, 12.5% of them are now burned as a fee.

• The pricing for Vouchers has been changed from using the TribalDex price to using a value based on the in-game pool.
