What Does Soulbound Mean?
If a card is soulbound, it is unable to be transferred, rented/delegated, burned, bought or sold until the cards go out of print. It is tied to the account that has earned it through gameplay/chests. Gladiator cards are also Soulbound (How Do I Start Earning Crowns, Merits, and Gladiators?).
How Can I identify the Soulbound Reward Cards?
Soulbound Reward Cards can be identified by the chain in the bottom right corner of the card.
How Can I Get Soulbound Reward Cards?
Soulbound Reward Cards can be found in Loot Chests. The odds are listed in the table below.
Furthermore, you will be able to increase the odds of receiving multiple reward cards or gold foils by using Potions.
Which New Abilities Come with the Soulbound Reward Cards?
Summoners with the Conscript ability will allow you to add 1 additional Gladiator card to your lineup in Ranked play. In Brawls, up to 2 gladiator cards may be used with this ability.
When a monster with the Martyr ability dies in a battle, it gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats. Carefully consider positioning so that this monster is adjacent to two monsters rather than just one when it dies.
*The dispel ability removes the Bloodlust, Martyr, and Weapons Training effects
Monsters with the Weapons Training ability will “train” any adjacent characters with no attack, giving them an attack of the same type as the character with the Weapons Training ability.
*The Oppress ability serves as a counter, as monsters with that ability will do 2x damage to monsters with no attack.
Will the Soulbound Reward Cards ever be unlocked?
It is possible that the Soulbound Reward Cards will be unbound in 1-2 years (subject to change), when each of them goes out of print (this will also required some sort of DEC burn to utilize them in an unbound form, details still TBA). When that happens, a new set of Rebellion (or the current set at the time) reward cards will be released.
