Welcome to Splinterlands, Electroneum players!
This guide will walk you through the full setup process for the Electroneum Voltage event. By the end, you will have a Splinterlands account, your Electroneum wallet linked, your ElectroFox card ready, and your Land set up to generate Electroneum Voltage Points.
You will need an Electroneum wallet address, enough Credits for any purchases you plan to make, and Hive Keychain to securely manage your account keys after your Spellbook purchase. Credits are used for shop purchases, while Electroneum Voltage Points, or EVP, are earned by staking ElectroFox on Land. EVP can then be used in the Electroneum Shop to purchase exclusive event reward chests.

4. Visit the Electroneum Shop
Once you have Credits, return to the Electroneum Shop and choose a Starter Bundle.
Each Starter Bundle is designed to help new players get started with Splinterlands, upgrade to a full Hive account, link an Electroneum wallet, and begin working Land.
You can also purchase items individually instead of buying a bundle. To begin generating EVP, you will need at minimum:
- A Spellbook
- An ElectroFox card
- A Common Land Plot
If you want to level up your ElectroFox card beyond level 1, you can buy additional copies from the Bundle Contents section. The level of your ElectroFox card determines how much EVP you can generate on land as well as the level of reward chests you can purchase.
5. Download Hive Keychain and Secure Your Keys
After purchasing your Spellbook, set up Hive Keychain. Hive Keychain is the recommended way to manage your Hive keys and interact securely with Splinterlands. Download Hive Keychain, then import and safely store your keys.

You can also use the Hive Keychain mobile app and its built-in browser to play Splinterlands and explore other Hive apps.
6. Combine Your ElectroFox Cards
In Splinterlands, players can combine multiple copies of the same card to create a stronger, higher-level version. The level of your ElectroFox determines how much EVP it generates on land as well as the EVP chests you are qualified to buy.
To combine your ElectroFox cards, go to your inventory by clicking Items in the navigation bar.
New accounts also include Foundations cards for Frontier Format, so locate your ElectroFox card among your available cards and items.
Look for the quantity number beneath the card. If you see an upward arrow, that means you have enough copies to level it up.
Click the ElectroFox card, select the copies you want to combine, then click the green + icon to combine them. Review the information on the resulting screen and click Combine.
You can also use the Stats tab to review the card’s level progression.
7. Set Up Your Land
Before You Stake Your FOX
Make sure your FOX is combined to the highest level possible before staking.
Once staked, there is a cooldown period if you choose to unstake, so double check your level before locking it in. ![]()

Now it is time to put your ElectroFox to work.
Open the Play menu, select Land, then click Production.
The Production Overview screen will show the region where your plot is located. Click the side arrow to open your region overview.
From the region view, click the side arrow again to view your plot.
On your plot page, click Manage to begin assigning cards to your Land.
Add ElectroFox to an available card slot. Because ElectroFox has the Energized ability, it does not require a separate power source.
Select ElectroFox from your available cards, then click Save Changes. Confirm the transaction in the window that appears.
Your ElectroFox is now staked on Land and ready to begin generating EVP.
8. Claim EVP and Purchase Reward Chests
Once ElectroFox is working on your Land, it will generate Electroneum Voltage Points.
The amount of EVP generated is based on the level of ElectroFox’s Static Charge ability.
When EVP is available, click Claim EVP.
- Want to learn more about land and producing other resources? Check out the Academy Panel indicated by the green arrow above!
After claiming, return to the Electroneum Shop. You can use EVP to purchase exclusive reward chests available during the Voltage event.
