Potions can be purchased in the Shop to increase the chances of Legendary, Epic, and Gold Foil card drops. Potions are not required for pack openings or reward redemption.
Midnight Potion
Midnight Potions: Double the chance of receiving black foil cards in Standard, Alchemy, and Legendary Conclave Arcana packs. Made from Aura on land plots containing Aura Labs, midnight potions are crafted by Splinterlands players. They can be bought and sold on the non-card market! Potion usage is optional in the mana well for qualifying packs. (CA starter packs and Gladius cases excluded)

Legendary Potion: Double the chance of a Legendary card appearing in a pack of cards. Double the chance of a Legendary or Epic card appearing in a reward chest.
- One potion per card can be used when a pack is opened. For one pack, up to 5 potions may be used.
- Potion usage is optional within the Glint Rewards Shop Toggle potion usage before confirming your purchase.
- For one chest, one Legendary potion may be used.
- Legendary potions are disabled for rarity draws.
- Legendary and Alchemy potions are disabled for Gold Foil rarity draws.
Alchemy Potion: Double the chance of a Gold Foil card appearing in packs of cards, rarity draws, and reward chests.
- One potion per card will be used automatically when a pack is opened. For one pack, up to 5 potions may be used.
- Potion usage is optional within the Glint Rewards Shop. Toggle potion usage before confirming your purchase.
- For one chest, one Alchemy potion may be used.
- Alchemy potions are enabled for rarity draws.
- Alchemy potions are disabled for Gold Foil rarity draws.
View the number of potions used within card packs, chests or rarity draws by hovering over the potions at the bottom of the chest opening screen.
Notes:
- Potions don't work on ALPHA PACKS.
- Gladius cases don't use Legendary or Alchemy Potions, they use Power and Blood Stones instead
- Potions are automatically used in packs but are not mandatory. If you don't have enough potions to open a pack you will get a popup message to confirm you want to continue the operation.
