What are Validator Node Licenses?

Licenses are NFTs on the HIVE Blockchain that allow users to Operate the SPS Validator Nodes.

A maximum of 60,000 Licenses will be printed and sold, which can be easily transferred to other players or traded on secondary markets. They also will allow players to operate Validator Nodes and get different tokens as rewards.

The SPS governance system will work via a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), with more detailed info in the Validator Node Overview.

How do I get a License?

Licenses can be bought in the in-game shop or decentralized exchanges like Hive-Engine or Tribaldex.

On the Shop page, licenses can be purchased with SPS.

Sales are split in tranches; the price of a validator node may vary depending on the current tranche and the SPS market price.

Buying a LICENSE on the market burns 80% of SPS spent during the purchase. The remaining 20% of the SPS tokens are allocated to the SPS Foundation and are reserved to continue incentivizing SPS validator node operation.

How do I operate a Validator Node?

Validator node software is currently in the development stage. License holders are rewarded with SPS and VOUCHER by keeping their licenses in their inventory. More details will be included as soon as available.

Rewards

3.375M SPS per month and 20000 VOUCHER per day are distributed equally among all license holders by keeping their licenses in their Inventories.
