What is the ZKCross Bridge?

ZKCross is a 3rd party that provides a bridge service for Splinterlands so users can transfer SPS and DEC back and forth between the Hive and BSC/ETH chains. Their service may be utilized directly from the Splinterlands website, whether you are transferring assets from an external wallet into your account or transferring them out to an external wallet linked to your account. 

Note: External wallet addresses must be assigned to the account before initiating outbound transfers. For inbound transfers, you will need to utilize a browser extension wallet application such as Metamask, to which you may import any wallet address you own your own private keys.

ZKCross transfers will deduct 0.5% of the transferred SPS/DEC as a fee for their service, as well as enough SPS/DEC to cover gas fees for outbound transactions on either of the available chains. For inbound transactions, users will have the same 0.5% SPS/DEC bridge fee, but the gas fee will be paid in BNB or ETH instead after signing for the transaction from your wallet, which may vary greatly depending on traffic and the chain used.

You may also experience paying an extra fee for an approval transaction if you are utilizing a ZKCross bridge contract for the first time.

The names for these bridge accounts all reference "Terablock", which is the original name for ZKCross; the company name has changed but these bridge account names are still used.

Reference articles may also be present as guides within the chart to instruct you on how to utilize such bridges.

To initiate transfers, you do not need to know the ZKCross contract addresses or their bridge account, but they may be helpful in determining what these transactions were for if you recognize the address or where they originated (if you see one of the listed bridge account names from the table).
