If you are unable to see a Gold Foil Card, try to locate it using the guide below.

1. Use the Foil Filter in your collection.
2. Check if your card is on Cooldown.
3. Verify whether your card is delegated, for sale, for rent, or rented out.
4. Check to see whether the ruleset allows the card. 
5. Check to see whether the card has been transferred. 

Use the Foil Filter in Your Collection

Step 1: Navigate to your card collection by following that link, or clicking Items on the upper left of the screen. 

Step 2: Select Cards.

Step 3: Ensure that Owned is selected from the drop down menu. Or, if the card is rented or delegated to you, select the appropriate filter. 

Step 4: Toggle the Foil options to select gold. 

*You may have to unclick Regular Foil (next to the Gold Foil button)

Check if your card is on Cooldown.

Step 1: Find your card as shown in the instructions above, and click on it.

Step 2: See if the card has a Yellow Clock icon next to it. This means the card was recently transferred or played by someone else.

Note: If you hover over it with your mouse, you can see how long it takes before you can play it again.

Verify whether your card is delegated, for sale, or rented out

Step 1: Go to the market, find the name of the card you are looking for, and click on it.

Step 2: Click on the Cards tab.

Step 3: Check if the card has the Green Arrow icon next to it. If this is the case, it means the card is delegated.

Note: If you hover over it with your mouse, you can see to whom the card is delegated. Click on the Green Arrow icon to stop the delegation (if this is a rental, it will end after the current 2 day period, or season, depending on the rental type).

Step 4: If the card has the Green Arrow icon and the House icon (circled above), it's rented out. If you only see the House icon, it's listed for sale.

Note: you can hover your mouse over it to check if it's for rent, rented out, or for sale. You can also see who rented the card and cancel the rent here.

The ruleset doesn't allow the card

Some rulesets do not allow certain cards to be played. Consider this when you are unable to locate a card during battle.

Back to Basics		All monsters lose their abilities. Note: Summoner effects still happen including those like Yodin Zaku, who give monsters abilities.
Broken Arrows		Monsters with ranged attack cannot be used. Note: Monsters with 2 types of attack which include ranged in their attacks, such as War Chaang, also cannot be used.
Even Stevens		Only monsters with even mana may be used. Note: This rule does not apply to summoners.
Keep Your Distance		Monsters with melee attacks may not be used. Note: Monsters with 2 types of attack which include melee in their attacks, such as War Chaang, also cannot be used.
Little League		Only monsters and summoners which have a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.
Lost Legendaries		Legendary monsters may not be used. Note: Legendary summoners are still available.
Lost Magic		Magic monsters may not be used in battle. Note: Monsters with 2 types of attack which include magic in their attacks, such as Kralus, also cannot be used.
Odd Ones Out		Only monsters with odd mana costs may be used. Note: Summoners are not affected by this rule.
Taking Sides		No neutral monsters may be used.
Up Close and Personal		Only monsters with a melee attack can be used. Note: Monsters with 2 types of attacks can be used as long as they have a melee attack as well. An example would be War Chaang.

For any cards you don't see, check if you transferred them

If you transferred or sold a card, you will not find it in your account. For example, if a player was looking for an Exploding Dwarf and couldn't find it through the other methods, the player can try to find it on a Hive Blockchain Explorer. This can be done on a variety of websites, but for this example, we use MonsterMarket and https://hive.ausbit.dev/:

Step 1: Go to the MonsterMarket website.

Step 2: Type: Exploding Dwarf in the search bar.

Step 3: Click on the Exploding Dwarf card.

Step 4: Here you will see that the Card-ID of an Exploding dwarf will always start with C3-106.

Step 5: Go to https://hive.ausbit.dev/@username and replace the username with your Splinterlands name.

Step 6: Press CTRL + F (= search on this website) and type C3-106.

Step 7: You will be taken to the transfer of the card. Here you can see the following information:

• ID: This is the transfer type. For example, sm_gift_cards means the card was transferred.
• TO: here you can see who received the card.
• "C3-106-4BQYE2VA4W" this is the Unique Card-ID.
