Alternative Mobile Browser Login (No more rerouting to m.splinterlands.io) - Full version

Some users experience issues on their devices with both the app login, as well as the mobile website (m.splinterlands.io). Even when they try the normal website (splinterlands.com) their mobile device keeps re-routing or redirecting them back to the mobile website (m.splinterlands.io) instead of continuing on the normal website (splinterlands.com). There is a trick to make sure you will not be re-routed to the mobile website, by avoiding the "play now" button, but instead use the "login" and "battle" links from within the Menu.


Step by step version

Firstly, you will need to type splinterlands.com into the search bar of your preferred browser, and you will either have to click on the appropriate link, or it may automatically route you to the correct site (Do make sure you type the name of the site correctly, or you could possibly encounter a scammer's fake website).

After you encounter the main page, make sure you DO NOT click on the "Play Now" button, but instead click on the three lines (Menu button) located at the upper-right of the screen. If you click on the Play Now button from a mobile device, it may just route you to m.splinterlands.io instead. which is not what we are aiming for within this guide here.

After clicking on the menu button, more options should appear, including the login button. Click on this button here in order to proceed to the next window, where you will be inputting your login details.

From here, you may enter your Splinterlands username private posting or private active key (DO NOT include the @-symbol before your Splinterlands username, as it will just report as invalid within the field). Alternatively you can log in with your email address and password. Then proceed to click on the login button displayed just below the two fields.

Now that you are logged in ignore the "Play Now" button again and go to the menu again. You will always do this whenever encountered in order to avoid being redirected to m.splinterlands.io.

You should see that you are now logged into your account. You may navigate to one of these options, such as the "Battle" tab for the website, but do it by clicking on the corresponding menu option.

Once you are logged in you could also use use the direct links (and save them as favorites) instead of the menu. See the appendix for an overview of all the direct links

From here, you should be able to see a lot of similar details available on mobile versions of the game, though hopefully without any visual errors. Effects may vary occasionally depending on your device.

If you already have a ticket open regarding this particular issue and perhaps have already been recommended such an article, then please report this within the same ticket instead that this workaround had not resolved your issue.


Appendix - Overview of all the direct links
