Attack Accuracy
When a melee or ranged monster attacks, there is a chance that the attack may miss depending on the following variables:
- Blind - Reduces attack accuracy by 15%
- Dodge - Reduces attack accuracy by 25%
- Flying - Reduces attack accuracy by 25% (only if the attacking monster isn't flying)
- Speed Differential - Reduces attack accuracy by 10% per speed differential point
NOTES:
- All monsters start with 100% attack accuracy. The variables above will work together and reduce the accuracy starting from 100%.
- The Blind, Dodge, and Flying abilities are non-stackable abilities.
- Magic attacks are guaranteed to hit, unless the target monster has the Phase ability (see below).
Other Factors That Affect Attack Accuracy
- Aim True Ruleset - If a battle has the Aim True ruleset, then all attacks will always hit their target.
- See True Strike
- Phase Ability - If the target monster has the Phase ability, then all attacks, including magic attacks, become vulnerable to the attack accuracy reductions above.
- Snare Ability - If the attacking monster has the Snare ability and is attacking a Flying monster, then that monster's attack is guaranteed to hit its target.
- When the target monster gets hit with the Snare ability, that monster has the Flying ability removed. However, the attacking monster with Snare will still hit this same monster 100% of the time, even when the Flying ability is removed.
- When the target monster gets hit with the Snare ability, that monster has the Flying ability removed. However, the attacking monster with Snare will still hit this same monster 100% of the time, even when the Flying ability is removed.
- True Strike Ability - If the attacking monster has the True Strike ability, then that monster's attack is guaranteed to hit its target.
