Blast
"Does half damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target Unit."
Blast Damage is the damage taken by Units adjacent to the recipient of a direct Blast attack. Certain Abilities & Status Effects interact differently with Blast damage.
- Damage reduction and evasive abilities may be used to reduce blast damage.

Units taking Blast damage will return damage to magic attackers.

If a Unit with Bloodlust destroys a Unit adjacent to the target with Blast damage, Bloodlust will trigger. |
If Expose removes a defensive ability, Exposed Units will no longer experience reduced Blast damage.

Magical Blast damage strikes armor first. |
Units with Enrage that receive Blast damage directly to their health will become Enraged. |
Blast damage paired with Piercing can rip through armor and decrease health to Blast-adjacent Units. |
Additional armor can help to protect the health from melee and ranged Blast damage. |
If a Unit with Martyr is killed by Blast damage, Martyr will activate. |

If a Unit with Redemption is killed by Blast damage, Redemption will activate. |

If an adjacent unit's health is 2 or less after taking blast damage, from a unit with Execute, the aggressor will Execute the adjacent unit. |
Blast Damage will NOT activate the following abilities:

Deathblow- Will not increase Blast damage even if the adjacent Unit is the only one left on the team.
- Dispel - Dispel cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Cripple - Cripple cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Expose - Expose cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Life Leech - Life Leech cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Affliction - Affliction cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Backfire - Blast damage cannot miss adjacent Units, so Backfire and other abilities that rely on evasion do not apply.
- Enfeeble - The Enfeeble effect will not spread to adjacent Units.
- Halving- The Halving effect will not spread to adjacent Units.
- Lookout - Lookout does not reduce Blast damage.
- Poison - Poison does not spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Retaliate - Blast damage is not melee damage so Retaliate will not trigger.
- Stun- Stun cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Shatter - Shatter cannot spread to adjacent Units via Blast damage.
- Trample - Blast damage is not melee damage so Trample will not trigger.
